around the block from me my brother was drivin home and saw a crate full of records, i walked to the guy's house and he said there was a leak in the basement, it was freezing as all fu.ck out too but i spent my night outside going through the records. the covers smelt like shi.t and some were faded, i had to throw them out but I kept and cleaned off all the records. and the crate was PACKED, sure was heavy, but im happy i came across that. some aretha franklin, rolling stones, jimi hendrix, etc etc. it was a good day
U damn Skippy son!...thas what I'm talkin bout. The picture show beat up covers, but most of these records are in good condition once you clean them up. Some are in Sealed plastic! Even the ones with the trashed covers (some) look like a needle has never been placed on the record...almost an Armorall like shine cuzzins....No ish.
I know theres some finds in there. I'm going back this weekend and hand pick what I want instead grabbing a whole box or stack. I'm runnin out of space at home. And the thing about it, I can't catch up with the owner, I leave messeges on the answering machine but dont get any calls. There is at least another 400----+
