Hi,
has anybody checked the SHURE White Label cartridge and needle?

I have stanton trackmaster and I wanna try the WHLB ones.
I will use them more for sampling .. not that much for spinning.

Playboy they suck a$$!!!!!

I bought one and haven't even had it on a record for more than 20min total.

I'm mad as hell right now cause as you probably know music stores don't take returns on neddles even if you haven't used them. Do yourself a favor and run away from them. I'm putting mine on ebay this week.

I got the ortofon Arkiv...that joint is aiight!!!!

Hope this helps!!!!

i havent tried it but i read they are pretty heavy duty,
they color the sound alot....basically being good only for white labels and bootlegs hence the name whitelabel!

stay with the track masters thats your best bet, i have had mine for 10 yrs + and they kick ass,

i have a shure m44 that i havent used yet, but if you want quality sound
use a aduiofile needle GRADO/AUDIOTECHNICA/ SHURE has other great needle as well,
as with any dj needle you pick up it will color the sound. even the trackmasters ,but those are much cleaner in sound.

stick with the standard mount cart thats the old style before they jumped to pen carts thats your best bet
