kid nepro

im thinking about ordering drums from these guys has anyone ever heard any of their samples???? any good???

When I first started out with my ASR10 I used to order floppy disks from them, I gave up on sheer dissapointment after a few unmoving samples and disks. I made my own chops and samples which were better to me, and you can to. Save that money, learn to do it yourself.

Plus you'll feel a big sense of accomplishment after you get a good sized library. AND, it's personal, not just something that is available to everyone.

My library is HUGE now after years of doing this. I actually STILL got the ASR10 Kid nepro disks in my closet (like maybe 30 floppies) although I haven't touched them I think in almost 6-7 years. I refuse to throw away sounds though.

you wont goo wrong with those sounds.

i got a free pack from him once and there ill.it was a freesample pack demo. but yeah i get my sounds from sampling records.

If you've got your pc handy, go to your local Barnes & Nobles, and check out Computer Music magazine. It's going to set you back $16 or so, but it will come with a dvd of .wav sounds, and yup, probably be alot of drums in there....Kid Nepro is only good for sounds off of rare keyboard/rack gear, but I wouldn't touch them for samples, because you can just get your own for free....
