I usually just do what your doing. Sit back and just listen to em' I love records like dat. Usually though as my skill level increases in terms of beatmaking I start to hear parts of the record that I can sample down the line. So hold on to em'

check some of there other records they got some really dope sounds,

as jacpot said as you get more indepth with your music and sampling you will be able to rip something from those records,
i guarantee you can pull a one shot off those records now.

:) yeah , what Dj EdE said. vinyl is life back to music

If you like to listen to it, it probably deserves to be sampled; (unless somebody else has samp[led it already) ...so I would keep it unless you dont want it or it doesnt want you.. hahah :? ok

Good luck with those records

You talking about Quicksilver Messenger Service? They're cool. Check out their 60s stuff. Some psychedelic shit. They're from SF.

You can listen to a record all day and can't think of a D@mn thing to do with it.....come back to in a week and have a whole different oulook on it...by the 3rd time you listen to it, you should know about how you want to Chop, Slice, Sip, Transpose, Molest the samples. You can ALWAYS do something with ANY record.Even a Country western. Sample, Pitch, reverse, lay some drums down, HH, ......Mental Marination
