ive sampled off the PT01. its not horrible, if the record has seen better days it will expose it but considering its weight, size and function I have no complaints on it. I would like to find a better needle tho.

btotheg: do you have a link for the needles? Are they the same one or a better needle? I checked ebay but couldnt track one down. Peace.

yes yes the PT-01 from Numark is extremely durable mine has been kicked, sat on, dropped, my needle even got slammed so hard into the little metal covring and scratched it all up, and still no problem... fits in any packpack Perfectly in the jansport...with room for headphones and extra battery cells! at 90 bucks you cant beat it i use it for my 1000/ and my 60II

Can anyone get a photo of your Numark PT-01 power supply , I have a huge collection of power supplys and i mixed up my numark one with a grip of other ones. I dug threw them all and could not find one with the power supply specs on the table. I am quite confused.

The numark joint is a work horse. And will get the job done.

I myself use the Handy Trax, side by side comparison.. i heard the vestax joint a bit louder, and got it for 100 even, so i went for it.

both very reliable tables.

Usually just use for reference purposes, but using it as your main sample source can work just as well.

peace

I have had the Numark PT-01 fro a year now. My wife bought one for me x-mas of 07. I use when I go digging here in Memphis. the sound doesn't have to be perfect for all I need it fro is to scan the records. I got a set of headphones and then i go work for hours. It uses six D cell batteries for power. to me this is a good choice for any DJ or producer.
