WHAT RCA CABLES DO U GUYS USE FOR YOUR TURNTABLES?

I have a ION usb turntable that has RCA audio jacks at the end. I use regular line adapters (connect one RCA cable to another) from Radioshack and regular RCA cables. I have no hum, just the crackle of old records.

**Anyway...check your cable routing. If your audio cables are running alongside the
power cable, then hum can be introducing that way. If they are running alongside each other, separate then and check for hum. Also check under the "Getting Started" section, Useful Links PT 1 by Lampdog. There's a link for home recording. I think your problem is covered there.**

no one here is going to be able to find out whats causing your hum problem, you're going to have to check all your gear to find out which items causing the isssue.
definitely try some different leads but you dont buy new ones at this point if you dont have to.

oh. and make sure you've connected the grounding cable. . .

I found out i bought a matix rca to rca cable and it sounds a lot better

check your gorund cable, check your needle, check your cart
if you got a shtty table too that makes the difference, i always say you get what you pay for , you skimp on the turntable you'll get skimpy sound out of your records
