anyone know a good (free)music library software? (for vinyl)

anyone know a good (free)music library software

to index my collection...?

it should contain data entry fields for

-album name
-artist
-year of pressing
-condition
-label
-made
-size 12"/7"/10"/ whatever.....

etc.
if you could enter a picture of the cover that would be nice
that kind off thing.... anyone?

Microsoft Access is good for creating databases. I don't if you can add pictures though.

i use discogs.com, it does all the work for you. you just export it as an excell file.

a few of those are good i have heard people use them,

what would be the point if your not having them in digital format? a few yrs ago i would have liked something like that but ,now adays theres all this digital media stuff that can file things for you i don't see the point .....thats just me tho

i got 30 yrs of diggin in my head and i can remeber just about anything i have , i just have to see the cover NAMES DONT STICK VERY WELL IN MY HEAD. i'm a visual person.

You could probably use Microsoft Excel, but that shit would take a lot of time just to have your album names/pictures.

You should encode everything and store it on your hard drive in folders... then you know exactly what you have and can play it too, without having to search for rogue LP's.
