I switch between 4 different headshells / carts though, so I use the scale and weights to get a configuration that works well without recalibrating my tonearm each time.
Same deal with this cartridge alignment disc I have. Yes, it does what it is supposed to and well . . . but a piece of plastic cost me $50

Too bad they have a patent on the design . . .
