It depends usually salvation army shops and I have bought a couple from dada records. I haven't got anything from bower bird records.

I always look for cheap records so I like digging at salvo stores.

bower bird is dope, that's my local spot..
dada's is dope too, raided their dollar bin not long ago and came out good!

but i mostly buy bulk, swap meats etc. i usually get crates for 20-50 bux!
theres alot of time sifting through junk, but i've hit a few gold mines for sure.
+ i ask anyone and everyone i meet if them or their olds have wax.

I need to hit up the swap meets and ask some old people in my area for records lols. I was thinking of putting up a flyer at the local shops encouraging the local old's to give up their vinyl goods haha.

putting a flyer up is a good idea, i might bite that one. walking through those swap meats with all the degenerates palming off the scabbiest shiit is a bit daunting, i'm in and out like an bird on its prey.

i wasn't able to listen coz my net has reached its limit, forum browsing is all i can do. spewing coz theres a few vids up here i got a jones to check out.

my main spot with my equipment is in joondana, but i work in the north so i stay at my old mans in ocean reef most the time coz it's way cheaper. but i grew up in scarborough through and through. i was just writing a song about old skool scarborough summers 10 years ago, good times.

You'd probably have to put the flyer up in a book store, or somewhere random. The street or something. I doubt a record store will let you put up a sign that says "Don't sell your records to us, give them to this guy for free!"

I have always wanted to check out garage sales but I have never got down to doing it.
Cash converters sometimes have records mostly hip hop shit.

I know there is a place in Maylands...second hand stores and rarely get a good find in the Quokka but I did get a good one once in Gumtree.com

i also used to get records from an ebay store in morley called 'i sold it'. i stopped past after dropping something off at EAV http://www.eav.com.au/ and the ebay store was closed down, i was devo! i used to get crates for 20 bux from there.

I have a handytrax but I never take it with me.
I love the feeling of finding a record and thinking its good then taking it home and realising u were right.

I went to bowerbird once, i wanted to buy this Hugo Montenegro record but it was $15 or more so i said nah. I was with some friends who arn't into music like that so i was there for a short time.
