Open Bass Sample

in the key of F? I need one, I've f'in searched for days, and I've came across some basslines in the right key but the structure/feeling didn't match to the beat, so does anybody have any ideas? And I'm not going to use sample packs/synths.

Open bass is always a struggle for me to find too. I have like 2k records and maybe 5 of them have open bass on it!
Most times I have to just make my own on bass guitar (need keys) or just no bass

Are you asking for a single bass note? I have a record with one, but I don't re bet which note it is off my head.

Really it's situations like this where it's easiest to get some one shot singles out of a library. Library loops are on thing, most avoid them or chop them into something unrecognizable from the original, but a few one shot bass notes can be a lifesaver.

Very few I have are in F though. at least of my one shots that are labelled.

Why can't you just tune it to the F key and filter?

I linked him 100 fire one shots in A,D and E thinking he could do exactly what you're saying Arkyve-31. But yeah that's what I'd do regardless of the sound source in this case.

Electric, not a disco/super funk'd up finger plug one, jazzy and mellow would be ideal.

And I'm looking for a choppable bassline, not just a one hit/note.

All good things n4l. Personally I at times use one shots like that to make lines and I have Trilian which I process in ways to sound like it's sampled. (kind of do that on 90% of all non sampled sounds I use)

Maybe a fat stack of Charles Mingus records might a good place to hunt for open bass, he was prone to have that in a lot of joints.
