James Brown – Please Please Please (KING 610 Mono)
Donald Byrd – off to the races (Blue Note, deep groove mono)
The Miricles – Hi were the miracles (Tamla T220, white label)
Ramp – Come into Knowledge ( blue thumb BT 6028)
Sony Clark Trio (Blue note 1579 mono, Deep groove)

killer watts - the many moogs of killer watts 1974
chocker campbell - street scene 77

i been bumping vitamin e - sharing alot, that ones rare but not impossible to find

And that JB is worth $500 and up (look it up) and it's in MINT condition. vitamin e (DOPE Record) got that too!!!

$500? in MINT condition..good shit...yeah that vitamin e is ill..pretty girls is the JOINT for me. if you can find it peep Lawrence HIlton Jacobs - self titled 78, some more real funky soul shit similar to Vitamin e. thats probably my favorite record right now, i think its pretty rare too. but nah this is the right forum, im just saying, it seems to me like theres not alot of record connosieurs in this piece..could be wrong

I consider myself somewhat of a connoisseur but most of my rare ones are disco/boogie 12s not lps.

also, there's a big grey area in between rare and hard to find... depends who you ask.

now that is whats up ^^ ..i have that Phreek LP, good ish..you have a gem with that klein and MBO too, the only time i ever saw that record was when I was living in PA, my boys dad was a record collector and he had a mint copy of it. said it was worth a few hundred. since we're talking about disco..

maximum joy - station M.X.J.Y. 1982 UK import..this is one of the strangest records i own, it has elements of dance but at the same time spiritual jazz too..really great shit. not exactly disco but one of my most prized rekkids

Love Injection - not rare but def a desirable classic! You got me interested in the Maximum Joy now....

I have 2 Phreek promos, they seem to pop up a lot here for some reason. There is also a sick Chi style edit of that on a white label with the big letters DE on one side that came out last year.

Juke, I still need that Persia, nice one. I just read on another board that there is a very rare one sided promo 12 of that out there. Dang. The Klein & MBO lp is hot too. I let that one sit in the store and it sold so I just have the Dirty Talk 12 on Siamese. Hoping it comes in again soon.

Another great disco LP that is hard to find is the Logg LP on Salsoul. All the songs are great... Leroy Burgesses best work IMO.
