I can testify that Bam has MAAD records (garage and house full) and lil' dudes around him that love to hang around to soak up his knowledge. Actually the guy that put me onto djing back in 85' - 86' ran with Bam from the Bx River days and he let me borrow one of Bam's GLI mixers he had laying around his crib. When he asked for it back (like a yr. later) I went and bought a mixer the next day cause I was already hooked.

Bam used to recieve the odd package from the good ol UK many years back too.

Just watched it...

much better than the original but then again I had no probs with the original as it was for nostalgic value, Pete Rock has plenty to say on this one and lays down a few home truths about some cats as does marley, the japanese section has given me the bug to plan another overseas roadtrip later this year LOL.

all in all a thumbs up from me as I enjoy listening to my influences from back in the day, its also good for the new guys as it may influence some that its not just about the fashionable chop chop theory of today but also about some straight up looping from back then too

its all good in our world, but even better after a chill out session watching part 2
