I have lots of shops near me and I visit regularly but the shops that have records for that money, hardly any are as mint as most of yours seem. And the variety you have too is insane. Would need to hit up record stores for that in which case 90 albums would cost £900 approx.

Not saying there aren't gems but not in abundance like that. Very jealous.

I do live in a part of the country that was and is predominantly white so at least 40-60% of records are country or Cliff Richard

Yes I feel your dilemma as I am fortunate to be here in the states but as you know a lot of artists went overseas and enjoyed great success and recorded extensively.. Those recordings then returned over here as imports and always commanded high prices. As to the condition immaculate for what I do with them :) I could stay digging in these spots all day and never get bored or come home without something. On the real I have about 5 spots that I go to and I never run into anyone digging like me :hmmm: oh yea they are there alright but they are just looking for the Beatles/Elvis/etc.. nothing wrong with that as this Elvis joint is the funkiest he ever made IMOImage

for the price you cant go wrong remember 50 cents that's all   what Im showing is just what I have picked up in the last 3 months not what's really in my collection (maybe a crate raiders joint or something like that soon) I do this out of my love for hiphop not for the money cause I have made some money lol and then I'm a D.J. so I don't just collect I play them all the time. To quote Pete Rock "there's something on every record" that's the truth! I have had my share of Wack records that I may not like personally but they always seem to have some sort of sounds that I can use. So Chin up and all that good stuff If you can you have to travel a lil bit and hopefully you will stumble upon some gems! I have heard the arguments and even participated in some of them as well but there is no substitution for getting dusty and digging!! it's part of the Culture and is considered one of the rites of passage.. and with that said happy digging to all and lets continue to spread the gospel of hiphop  Amen!

thanks for all the comments as I like to share  sometimes it can seem like you are the only one doing what you do because digging and making beats like any other art form can be very solitary in it's creation ,but also very rewarding in it's completion :Sigh: that Iron butterfly joint while not hard to find is usually very overpriced but that is my second copy for 50 cent and I'm cool with that! but don't sleep on April Wine or Angel as they have dope drums as well...Oh yea don't sleep on this dude

Okay folks I don't know if I'm the only one digging lol cause sometimes it seems like it..and I know some people don't really like to share but again for me its not about hiding records anymore! Its more about letting folks know you're here! and helping to keep this art form alive!...So without further ado on with the show.. Okay some background.. This is my first dig of the new year and it was smashing to say the least (and no I'm not English the term just fits lol) But today I picked up 65 albums for the paltry sum of $ 16.50 cents   :!: Yes I know but well later for that observe!Image
