just got back from massapequa. The recession made digging a little more fun. I talked down everything but the dollar records.

Attention vinyl record dealers and collectors! Missing Link Records, a new local distributor of new and gently used records is having its first-ever music collectors show
and sale. It will be held at the Double Tree Hotel at Campbell Rd and I-75 in Richardson on Jan 30th, 2010. We will have approx 50 tables of vendors from in and around the
Dallas area as well as Central and South Central Tx and north of the Red River. We are expecting a couple of local bands (TBA) to make appearances and well as remote
broadcasts by local radio stations. The Double Tree is the former location of the Infinite Record Show which ran here for many years. We're looking forward to continuing
that great tradition. We just got our first sponsor, www.rocknrollica.com, a local internet hard rock station. They, along with their sister station ircountry.com, will be running our spots starting after the first of the year. We are planning much print media as well as spots and giveaways on local morning radio and tv shows. Keep watching for more details.
Currently we are accepting reservations for table space for vendors. Tables may be purchased at $50 ea or $90 for two. Additional tables may be rented at $45 ea. Many tables have already been rented, so if you wish to be a vendor please contact us as soon as possible. Show will run from 10a-4p w/admission price of $2. Set-up will be
from 7a-9a w/ earlybird sales from 9a-10a (earlybird entry is $10). Please contact Richard @ 972 740 5187 for more info. Hope to see you there.

That's CRAZY!!I plan on going to the one in Richardson this Saturday.I have to drive 3 hours so it had better be worth it.

I plan to be there also. here is an update about the show.

For all of you that will be attending the Missing Link Records Music and Memorabilia Show on Sat Jan 30th at the Richardson Doubletree Hotel, we have some awesome
news! The Texas Musicians Museum has agreed to bring some of their exhibits to the show. There will be a couple of SRV's guitars, a display about the Texas International
Pop Festival that was held here right after Woodstock AND we might even get a chance to see the The Big Bopper's coffin (not confirmed yet). The Texas Musicians Museum is located in Hillsboro and is a great place to visit. It is also a great way to continue to support the music and musicians of Texas and keep their memories alive.
Limited dealer space is still avialable so don't delay!

adrian.....you ever been to one in your area similar to the one tomorrow?I would REALLY HATE to drive almost 4 hours or only have 3 sellers show or only get 3 albums.I think i might just head to Austin(about 1 1\2)and check that super huge flea market.

Stryke, I didn't make it to the show in Richardson. Been feeling bad, even missed 2 days of work. I went to the last record show back in Nov. there were several dealers from the area.

I didn't make it myself either.I was thinking about the drive(4 hours) and what if i didn't find but a few pieces or worse,nothing.And then the drive back.I'll wait til they come closer but i did find a few at another spot.So it wasn't too bad of a Saturday.
