Sampled Records

whether you realize it or not records are everywhere. this means hit the classifieds and find someone. garage sales. thrift stores. etc.


I get quickly fed up with people chasing after the same samples that have been used and then give some cop out like...."yo, dude I flipped it different."

The reason so many sampled beats knock is the originality of crate digging, not because so and so used it. When everone is chasing the same samples found in a book or a website the music suffers.

yo neo, I was in that same field and found the book gave it to everyone.
Now everyone knows what records to buy....

true...i be crate digging...i don't look for samples that other producers have used, i just sample anything that sounds good.
