The thrift store I've been hitting does 10/$1. Have scored some nice stax 45's, Spider man, Hulk, and lots of other sampler food. But my crown jewel value/rare wise is
Marcus Belgrave Gemini II - 10 cents

i used to work at a thrift shop so i picked up about 150 for $5 one time and my step dad hooked me up with about 200 of his old records. that was cool, he's got good taste in music.

We have this thing in Holland called 'koninginnedag' (queen's day; the queen's birthday), where the whole country turns into a yard sale. I came from the club around 7am, when everyone was setting up their stuff to sell. I came across this guy unloading a box of jazz records: Miles, Blakey, Coltrane, Sun Ra.... You name it. I was pretty drunk so I quickly browsed through it and offered him $20 for the whole crate. He took it.
I took the crate home and went to bed. I woke up a couple of hours later and seriously got out of bed to check if it hadn't been a drunken dream. Everything was still there... :)

well i never really stole no records. tried to steal the colleges records once but got thrawted. I did pic up a crate of classic rock for free on the side of the road. mint conditoned sealed classics. These records are worth mad money. Like stones uk imports and alot of psych rock. nothing really that i would sample but still ill none the less.

Yeah, they're both promos. They say "NOT FOR SALE" on the label.
I also have the LP that Big Beat is on. Got that for cheap too if I remember correctly.
