I say just quit now, stop digging, I mean its obviously such a hassle and with beat making being so trendy, real heads need bandwagon jumpers like yourself to make a quick exit stage left (i mean there is only so much wax to go around)....please comply, I hate to see such a simple mind go to waste making attempts at ceativity. When your digging, if you find a record that looks interseting, do you ever consider if it's been sampled already? If you think it has, does this ever hold you back from buying the record? This happens to me a lot!

no cause i'm a collector first befor i digg for something to make beats, but i digg at the same time for both,
i love to listen to music especially old music, and i use that music for my dj set's or i do party's that thats all i play is this type of music, i just want old music to be heard, so thats what i do play it out and other people enjoy it.mostly an older crowd people in there mid 30's to 60's

I'm not going to quit just because my digging skills are weak, not every one is as good as you when it comes to digging. I'm not a bandwagon jumper because I'm not some **** idiot that saw an MPC in a music video (Shawn Desman - Let's Go) or in a movie (Hustle & Flow) and said that looks so cool, I want to do that. I was INSPIRED from listening to really good music (Madlib, Premier, Pete Rock).

you got to pay to play. If the thrift shop dont have hot shit, goto the record store. All that bargin bin shit is cool when your a newjack but it gets mad lame real fast. At least in my experience. I love dudes that are like i wont spend more then 50 cents on a record. Ill spend as much as it costs for hot shit. So u best get a paper route or go suck a dick to get some funds. And that shit with not buying records cause others used em is lame. Ill still buy that shit .

If someone else has used it I think that is an indication that it is a good record. Plus they will have probably only used a couple of bars from one track. What about the rest of the album?

If you are avoiding things because you think they might have been used, well that also means they might not, doesn't it?

That's what held me back from going to record stores. I found a place where I can get some good records for about $4.00 - $8.00 each. They also have a deal where you can get six records for $5.00. The bottom line is if you want good grooves and sounds to work with, you have to spend the money.
