No disrespect to Jay Dilla.,.,.,R.i.p., but the version NO Id did for beans is hotter,.,.the version that j-dilla sounds more like something u would write some personal sh*t too.,.,.,the one that no Id made sounds like something that would really make u wanna say that "this is a man's world" and beans was the man for that job :!:

I never said that.,.,but I see it like this.,.,the personal joints is really fillers in the album.,.,those are the joints that u take a ride in the whip, or alone in ya crib, get in a motha f*ckas shoes (the artist) for whatever x-amount the song plays for and walk in that ****** shoes and see it thru that artists eyes.,.,those are the fillers.,.,the personal joints.,., 90% is the beat, when it comes to a commercial song.,.,U can't say you haven't heard a song where the artist is trash but the beat and the hook is on point.,., I rest my case

That was pretty ill, not like Dilla ever disappoints, but I'm gonna have to go with No ID's version too (and you wanna talk underrated, it's No ID).

Damn maybe I'm all alone on this. Lol, it's cool. I felt like the snare on Dilla's version fit the sample better, also the way he brought in the strings (including the pizzicato plucked strings) sounded iller. The chop itself sound more natural to me... Definitely no disrespect intended to No ID (one of my all time favroites), I think if Beans rhymed over this beat it would be one of his better songs. Just my opinion, of course.
