ah....remember, that when you buy records, you have to do the "market talk" ahaa.....they will ask you for an higher price....just try to deal with the salesman....like: mmmm i have only got these money for these records!....or man...these records are not worth 1 % of what are you askin for...etc..deal with them....and try to not appear too interested in their stuff....they can smell your greed aahha

Ur right about unique.. although it was real dirty when i went there and wasnt as beautiful as antisapated in my opinion.. was a good day I had there tho, some nice food lol

lol.. well u see no one would give me time of day when they heard speak english.. so I had to resort to stoppin peeps and speakin in spanish, and only peeps who would remotly help would be flirtatious women lol

Italy was one of the rudest and most racist places i ever been and I been to alot of places. My girl at the time who was livin there for 7 month's for uni had so much racism and sexism towards her it was crazy).. Its not some where Id go back to in a hurry, but maybe it was more the area I was in..

Good luck with ur diggin there tho man,, and sorry to take it off topic

Peace

I was in Venice last July and found no record stores.

Rome did have a few record stores but I was there back in '97. The best store I found was was about 4 blocks south of the train station near the Collosium.
I picked up on The Mighty Clouds of Joy,

Klein & MBO LP's and a Motown promo 12 inch of The Originals "Down to Love Town" with Jermaine Jackson "Let's Be Young Tonight" on the flip.
I paid 32.000 Italian Lira for all 3 but I can't how much that was in $ back then. Good luck...
