Waay over priced, They have a section called "budget soul" YEAH  budget my asss. You'll find A Taste of Honey in there a with a **** up cover for like 6 bucks. F that.

Its priced like that because all the breaks are found for u.. u dont have to "dig" as such.. basictly any record u pull out gonna have a break and usable sh!t... how dope its gonna be equals to the price its at.. cheaper ones bein "so so" but usable to the more expensive ones bein dope banga material off the get go with no real work even.

Its totally diff from a usual record store where u'll dig at to find the breaks urself... place like sound library u could take chances on records unknown to urself and still walk away with heavy sh!t... where as in a usual record store the same chancin could leave u with some wack sh!t not even seen fit to melt into a fruit bowl or make into a clock

haha true/\/\/\. i have crates of ish that i pulled from wherever for a buck a piece that are pure a$$. i mean maybe i could get a horn stab here or there but ive got plenty of that crap allready. im down for finding the ish and getting deals but anymore i can skip the ish for a buck and buy the 20 or 30 dollar record and still save money.. i have found some dpe ish in unusual places/labels/artists, and i still buy dollar ish but usually its priced like that because its crap.

MOst i've paid for a new record - £45 for an old school hip hop EP by Phil Most Chill - only 100 of these pressed so I had to get one just for an instrumental on there.

Most I've paid for a break - £30 for my VINYL copy of Psychomania OST - only 1000 of these on vinyl. Just a lucky day at a comic fair

Best buy ever - £1.50 for Banbarras Shack Up 45.

Peace

For one single record I would say 20$. Depending on how rare the record was. If it was really rare I would probably spend more for it.
But there are some days I go and spend 60$ to 80$ on vinyl records. I'm always diggin. Can't get enough of it.

depends on the year, label, or condition. but unless it's something i've been searching for forever i like to keep it under 5 bucks

right now i would say 5 dollars is my limit
but i get stupid when i go digging
for example, i found out about this record store and the first time i went, i was amazed at how many records they had and my brain went numb and i started buying whack 80s rock records

i came home and i was like "wtf did i just buy"
lol

yall are cheap as fuc!<. there are times to come up on some vinyl, but nowadays if you want things you have to pay for them. i spent about $100 on three lps this week and im happy..ill spend a hundred in a week or so on dollar bin ish and ill maybe get a few tracks. for my $100 on these three lps i know im getting the boogie ish. im hoping to find a skull snaps or blahblah classic beathead wax but chances are im not gonna come near it unless i really hunt it down and pay. how much herb alpert and copies of george benson breezin do you need? get outta the dollar bins (sometimes)!

Most I've spent on a record was $25 for a mint O.P. of Death Wish, mainly cause I was at the Sound Library and felt compelled to buy something.

huh! i thought deathwish was more expensive than that..nice find.

i got it in great condition for 50 cents

I've not had a limit, it just depends on what hits me at the time and whether I want it..

I use to travel with a breaks guy who would always look over my shoulder to check what I was buying.. all the mad money stuff I'd comment on and put it back, things like baby huey at the time was £50/JB's albums for £100!!!, he would be straight in there and buy it for cash without a thought, we'd then take the train home, go straight to mine, chuck it in the sampler and put a copy to DAT and then he'd go home happy..... I'd be sat at home happier 8)

another time I bought 2 copies of cali soul (this was before gangstarr used it) for like £1 each, he'd be on my case for days and i'd eventually sell him a copy for his offer price of £20......

one man's maximum is another man's minimum
