if you dont want to study the new age then i suggest you stick with your old 12's,,but if ur looking to step into the new era,,,tt04's have been ranked above stanton and numark, being cheaper than both.
like i said,i owned both and have no regrets what so ever.
being cheaper than boththis is the key.in the future! techs are still around with little change , and yes your right that the needle is what gives you sound quality, look at a cheaply built turntable and tel l me it doesnt sound like it sbeing played in the toilet. look at the tone arm structure of the 12 no dj tt out has that.
