What are some classic drum breaks?

For opens drums i like meters, they have a lot of single open hits hidden in their tracks.
Very hard hitting funky drums aswell.

Does anyone have any idea what drum breaks Pete Rock might have used on the Petestrumentals album? Of course, the SP plays a huge part in the sound and I've heard he layered his kicks with an 909.

Any suggestions? Spent about 100 euros on tight/thin snares and now I'm searching for HEAVY snare sounds...

Well thread seem to change from "some classic drum breaks" to "how many youtube vids with drumbreaks have I found". Not a nice development IMO. Dancer and Tulsa are not what I call "classic drum breaks".
