Yeah, it was one of my first too, I had it on casette... lol remember those? I think the colors soundtrack was the first tape I owned, but "I'm the rapper, he's the DJ" was my second I think. Jazzy Jeff is the man, I used to get more excited for the beats and scratches on their albums than for Fresh Prince's lyrics.

funny story-

i had this rapper over here and we recorded a song. Hes probably 36 years old, white dude with a beastie boy type flow. I like his sh*t and weve done work in the past. His band and my group do shows together. Anyway, after we were done with the track i was like "i dont have any blank cd's so i cant get you a copy today." then jokingly i said "i could make you a dub on cassette though" His eyes lit up and he was like "really? hell yeah!" and i really made this dude a flowers tape haha. He be bangin that shit in his work truck too lol

where the funny "D" i'm still wait'n for the punch line....i always record to tape...there's nothing wrong with that ....i record music for my 5yr old on tape. you lose the fidelity on CD
