I have no problem sharing samples with friends or even forum members like I've done before. I remember when I was first around these forums.... I battled a dude (that I still speak to on aim) and asked him if he could share his hi hat program because I really like his hihat samples and I ended getting clowned and learning a lesson on these forums about sharing

I hate it when cats claim flippin loops is not making music...what you think no one has ever played a ma7th on a guitar before? Sampling is a postmodern art that is all about reapropriation and context.

actually madlib drops a lot of loops with nothing on top, just plain loops.
sometimes he's a little off but i love most of his stuff

this is a really touchy subject cause me personally i am a chopper, but there will always be a certain record that has an ill loop that you just cant cut up and rearrange.

you could argue that too, sayin its technical, creativity inspires you to hear out that dope sample to use in the middle of a bar of freejazz, not technicality
