I think I got that Al Di Meola LP in the first pic. I'm going to dig mine out and listen to it again.

On a side note....
Starting tomorrow, my wife is going away on business for 4 days. While she'd gone I'm going to take a day off from work and hit up all the thrift stores here in Las Vegas and look for records. :-D

Juke- i like the sound of your plan! As they say, while the cat's away the mouse plays. Not calling your wife a cat though  . Also i don't know who 'they' are but that is what they say.

Post up some of you finds dude, love to see whats goin' down.

More of my recent digs. God bless UK charity shops

I once went round 6-8 charity shops in norwich and went thru ALL of their records, best part of 7 hours and didn't even get a sniff of a James Brown or Stevie wonder LP! Not that they're the be all and end all but most records are country, cliff Richard and crappy classical.

I need to move city.

I've only recently started "collecting" records, but the majority I come across are orchestral and/or classical. I drive about 40 minutes (one way) to get to the place I like to dig.

Definitely happy about finding those records, but the covers are in better shape than the records. Hopefully, they'll play alright.

Dug up some old Santeria records made by local churches of my town in Puerto Rico.

And a Drum beat record called DRUM DROPS.

Santeria records?! You say, but don't sleep, this is creepier than psychedelic 60s shit, dirty electric guitars and Farisa organs plus ill chants for the dead :smoker:

Weird, I just found drum drops as well.

I got my XL yesterday and went digging to celebrate. The thrift shop was a good stop today. All $1

The drum drops is like new, cover and record. Crazy what you can find out there.
