Anybody else got this problem

of only being able to find 'beautiful' or 'sad' samples...ie.

I could make s*** like this all day...finding an actual good loop for an MC to rock seems to be impossible

how do you mean you can only ever find sad/beautiful samples? are you restricting yourself to certain genres when sampling? (eg. mid 70's rock/easy listening).

how about avoiding loops and constructing something from hits and one shots - that way the mood of the tracks you're sampling wont come across so much.

nice beats though by the way..

perhaps the reason youre not finding anything other than sad samples is because you actually like them and subconciously you're skipping other stuff?

Yeah I've tried listening to all types of music in my digs, I thought I was just finding stuff like this cuz nobody else wanted it. I often have to make keyboard beats or chop/effect to get the sound I want. Thanks for the props on the beats though, guess I'll keep makin em
