Ok so i had to drop my pops off at work at 6:30am this mourning and while i was going back home i turned on the radio to see the latest garbage they were playing cause' i didn't have my ipod with me...

Well I hear the beat of this new song and the sample sounds madd familiar and it turns out to be a record that i have which is by Donna summer off of the album entitled "bad girls" which comes with 2 records. I was comtemplating about sampling that identical sample way back when i had an Mpc1000 and even a couple of days ago with the 2000xl cause' but i never did because it was so simple and i was like somebody probably already has this and sure enough when i turned on that radio the first song i heard was with that sample on it!I noticed that the producer just looped it and threw some garbage drums over it.

It made me realize i have to dig hard when i do start digging. Although i have never been digging before in a record store...I have been using my pops records collection; he has about 150 records.

Over the past days i have been noticing songs (already sampled of course) out of my pops collection like biggie's "sky's the limit" which was like the dopest track to sample off of the whole album..."bedtime story" by AZ,A track by Nas and also one by Fat joe

yup, you gotta dig hard if you wanna make tracks where people aren't gonna spot the sample source. and just because somethings rare and hard to dig, dont mean it aint been done already.

True story

So what part about this whole story is "crazy" or of interest?? So you heard a beat that samples an EXTREMELY common record and you came to the conclusion that if you don't actually dig, people are going to be able to find your samples?? But this of course will only be relevant WHEN you decide to start digging??

Listen man nobody told you that you had to comment and nobody told you you had to view it it seems to me that you have some kind of emotional attitude problem i suggest that you take your problems elsewhere rather than on mpc-forums.com
