looks alright. could've gotten some more interesting and relevant beatmakers in there though. dont really care for most of them backpacker type producers or dj qbert and mix master mike who seem to be in like every documentary for some reason, but aren't too relevant outside the dj world.

i'll check for it, if i can see it online.

first of all i guess i wasnt checkin the trailer hard enough or maybe it was just forgettable but the only person i saw related to PE is chuck d. he's not exactly a producer. second, i didnt see pete rock.

lastly...

pete rock, hank shocklee, danger mouse would be the only people i would care for out of that list.

and if i were to narrow that down even further danger mouse would probably be the only producer still consistently working. and im not even a big fan of his music, but i can respect a creative producer when i hear one.

so yes, they could've gotten some more interesting and relevant beatmakers.

I can understand you not liking them particularly but you can not say that Hank Shocklee (Bomb Squad) are not innovators. Same exact thing goes for Prefuse 73, Coldcut and some of the other featured artists. Each one of these individuals brought something new to beatmaking & I think they deserve to be considered as innovators for their contributions. If you don't consider them as such I really can't understand who you would.

Here's a list of more "not so interesting and not so relevant" beatmakers featured in that documentary.

when did i say hank shocklee is not an innovator? and i already mentioned the people who i have respect for that i know are in the movie from what it shows on the trailor and who you've mentioned.

and it's pretty ridiculous to say that because i dont care for prefuse, you cant figure out who i do have respect for when i clearly told you.
