Where in the Devil's backyard can I go dig for records? In Palm Springs, not too many places to go to. There is Vista Records and Tapes out in Yucca Valley but Damn! What are some good places to go when it looks like Mars outside your window. I aiming mainly for cats that live in San Bernadino/Riverside CA

Palm Springs has places to dig there not abundant but my boy lives there and there are Goodwill's the Mall and a couple of other spots but Riverside def. not places to dig. San Bernadino & Pasadena on the other hand have tons of places.

Are there any Flea-Markets out there? Hit those up, they might have records. Even antique shops got a small collection for sale. I found a Tom Scott album in mint condition for 15 cents (The one with the female hips in jeans) in one of those shops.

palm springs is overabundant with sinatra records and similar "old folk" records...

Vista music is kinda dry also, IME... the best thing i found there was best of mary wells...

actually a thrift store in yucca is where i found the winstons album with amen brother on it for 29 cents... 8)

also, in yucca on saturday and sunday there is a swapmeet at the old drive in... MAD records, but all the sellers think they know their schit and be TRYING to tax... most of the recs at the swapmeet up here have been in those racks for years it seems, MAD WARPAGE and flowers up recs just sittin out in the sun every week...

i got tired of that place and havent been in like a year or more... im sure if you put some time in you MIGHT find something worthwhile...
