If you come across any Cymande, Oneness of Juju, or Black Heat let me know. (No reissues please)
I collect as well and love afro-funk.
Willing to pay pretty decent money for some of these.
Would like really nice copies, but it doesn't have to be Mint.

Thanks

I have a pretty good looking copy of Cymande's Second Time Around.

PM me if you're interested. I'll do a trade too if we can work something out.

I've got some other stuff that I'd consider Afro-Funk as well, but I'm no expert in the field.

LOL. Hahahahaha. And for whoever recommended Malo... def some really cool jams. Copped a South African pressing of one of their albums and it is very percussive and layered heavy with percussive instruments. Very cool stuff.

Pete Escovedo is Sheila E's father. The brother of Coke. He had a club out in Berkeley called Mr. E's. It now the Shattuck Downlow for Bay heads. I got to meet him just before he sold it.
