Anyone have the Technics SL1200mk2 repair manual?

I'm contemplating buying a broken SL1200 locally for $75 and don't know exactly what's wrong with it, figured someone here would have the .pdf repair manual...if so could yall PM me?

If you Google you can find guides on replacing most stuff in it. It really depends on what's broken though. Let's say the tonearm assembly is shot -- that's going to cost you $75 by itself. If the motor is shot -- that's gonna be a lot of money too.

Unless you know exactly what's wrong with it I wouldn't waste your money.

I was looking at my local Craigslist and there's some 1200s going for really reasonable prices. If you can get a used one for $150-200 it might be better than blowing who knows how much on this one, plus your time.

i'm getting a RCA kit to install myself, these atbles are like the MPC you can fix them yourself , theres NOTHING better then doing your own work ,plus your learning your instrument inside and out.i got a free 1200 my buddy kicked me down but i have replace the hole RCA plate and all wires i think theres some wires that evebn go to the tone arm ,can't wait to get into it.

Stuff like motor and tonearm is'nt just expensive, but it's a real hassle to fix. Recently changed tonearms on both of my 1200's and hope i will never have do it again

Getting parts can be a hassle to.

You will probobly end up kicking yourself that you didn't spend an extra 100$ on one in working condition.

If you are good with electronic repairs, I'd say take a chance on it.
One of my boys was going to sell his 1200 because it wasn't working at all. Come to find out, some-fkn-how, the voltage was switched to 240VAC and not to 120 for use in the states. Easy fix but I could've gotten a mint 1200 for cheap if I didn't tell him.

i hate when that happens....mostly with the older TT 's

You're lucky in America, if it's switched the wrong way it just doesn't work. if it's switched to 110V and you plug it into a UK/EU power socket you blow the power supply!
