For me Audition is the weapon of choice when it comes to rip vinyl.
1. Recording the whole Vinyl
2. Hit 1 (shortcut for lowcut at 30Hz to kill the rumble.)
3. take a closer look at the peaks (are there loud clicks and pops? if so I kill them with another shortcut. I could do this automaticly but I want to change the audio only if its nessecery so I kill the pops manually)
4. Shift + A (shortcut for Hard Limiting. I use a threshold thats ca -1dB to -3dB lower than the highest peaks
5. Hit 3 (normalize to -0.1dB)
6. Hit F11 and change the bitdepth from 32bit to 16bit
7. Fade In (Hit Q) and Outs (Hit W) between the Tracks
8. let the software "look for phrases and mark them"
9. Go to Cuelist and change the names of the phrases (Songs) from phrase001.....to the name of the songs
10. mark all phrases in the cuelist, hit batch, choose folder and save them as flac
Well it took a little time for sure but thats just my way to get the quality that I want and it took ca 10-15 minutes for a complete vinyl (where the most time is used by my slow ass PC for calculating stuff)
peace
