Anybody around Sydney or NSW care to share?
Yesterday I went on a mission and hit about nine Vinnies. Same as always - Chopin, Neil Diamond, Tijuana Brass etc everywhere with almost nothing funky. Some of them had no records. I got some Daly Wilson Big Band, Dionne Warwick, Gladys Knight and 5th Dimension but really, **** all!
It seems like there is nothing in terms of funk records in the Vinnies. Can you actually get a steal in any of the record stores? Ashwoods/Egg/Revolve etc... it seems like those guys know what the records are worth so what is the point of digging there.
I'm gonna hit the Glebe record fair in October. What can I do until then? What do you guys do to get a good dig?
