P.U.T.S - Jamboree Pt. 1

Just wondering if anyone know's the sample and the break used for PUTS - Jamboree Pt. 1?

It's a tough one to find.

dude I have 90% of their albums including an album released containing the original songs Thes One sampled from.

When I get home from work I'll dig it up and let you know, even if it's not on there by law they must credit the samples on the sleeves. If somebody hasn't hooked you up by then I will. P.U.T.S is the bomb... fully slept on up here.

LOL hardly, don't judge my post count here. I've been around the block a few times and I do know that PUTS are pretty good at getting shiz cleared and I'm pretty sure I've seen the credits for Jamboree.

PUTS are the shit. I saw them live in NYC! One of the best concerts I've ever been to. The Gym Class Heros opened up for them and it was like 2 weeks before GCH blew up on the radio! Question in the Form of an Answer is PUTS best work!! Thes is sick on the beats and KK is sick on the tables! They also have the best flows I think I've ever heard. Alot of times they just loop up a sample and a break but its still good music! "July 3rd" and "Blowin Wax" are soo dope so is "43 Labels I Like". "Give Love a Chance" samples the same song as Slum Village's "Go Ladies"; Don Blackman's "Holding You, Loving You".

HAHAHA thats crazy I didnt even realize that that whole album was commercial samples! Those tracks are crazy! I wonder where he got all the commercials from?

The Hyvee track is crazy. Those bells in the track sound so lovely...

Yo I'm having some challenges locating that f-in album. Just moved a few weeks ago and alot of my music is still boxed.

I haven't gave up, and i'll be searchin more after work.

ive listened to them forever. back when therir first albums came out, i lived in maine and we had a sick little undergound music store there and thats where i found them. i moved to california and nobody even heard of em!! PEEPS IS SNORING ON THEM FO SURE....

Not quite accurate. They may be good at the process, but they are not always successful at getting them cleared for reasons beyond their control....hence why you probably won't find the sample credited:

The average People Under The Stairs album can contain thousands of samples of other artists' work. Thes One and Double K are reluctant to name their sources; not all of the samples have been cleared with the original record labels, despite the duo's efforts. "The publishing companies and the record companies that own this stuff have made it impossible for us to clear it properly," Thes One said in the dotmusic interview. He went on to add that he would be happy to pay the artists directly for their work, but that legal red tape and record company policy often ensure that the artists themselves never see any of that money. As a result, People Under The Stairs face a greater creative challenge. In order to keep themselves out of trouble, they must dig deep to create their beats and use very obscure samples that aren't easily recognized. Thes One used one sample from a record he found from Peru.
