Black Keys do a hip hop album - awesome vids on their websit

They're doing it under the name Blakroc. Damon Dash is the executive producer - hes called all sorts of cats. Jim Jones, Mos Def, Raekwon, RZA, Noe, Pharoe Monch - the list goes on. They've recorded loads of videos of putting the album together and put them on the website, really nice seeing the whole process. Plus the black keys spot looks amazing - massive wall of vinyl, more outboard than a marina and a couple of cute ladies hanging about.

Same here, I just don't know how long im gonna have to wait for a good torrent to appear for it.

yeah someone else posted a link about these guys a few weeks back. there are several webisodes of them in the studio with the likes of Rza, Jim Jones, Mos Def, etc.

I love their sound. But as a Producer that plays drums, guitar, bass, keys, mpc's and m.i.c's I love the instrumentation aspect of it. so this sounds SO fresh to me!!!!

Hiphop needs this right now!

why not just record the record into your computer... buy the record... listen to the thing all the way thru the first day you get it... and record the album as u listen to it all the way thru.... shit will sound better than ANY digital download..
