These comps have better sound than many of the originals and old boots. I have most of em but I still bought these comps to play out. Maybe Aussies and Brits have some better old presses (urban, cooltempo I think? later S12), but those were harder to find over here. I have a few old UK presses, and even back then you could tell Trax was ass in comparison.
I agree that these cuts are all played out though, and I hope that there will be more installments with rarer stuff. Also, SJ has great distribution so I was able to buy from a local independent record store. I'd rather do that than order online.
