Bad idea. I'm sure it leaves chemical residue on vinyl, which you really want to avoid. It may not damage vinyl records, but I don't think it is cheap way to clean records anyway (Swiffer Duster is name brand cleaner, and I find it expensive.)
I posted this somewhere here already, but get 3M microfiber cloth and water spray. Wipe your record with very slightly dumped (with water spray, use mist mode) 3M microfiber cloth.
I've tried many cleaning methods, and it works best for remove dust and lint on record vinyl. It can even remove light mold on your record!
By the way, there are many types of microfiber cloth. The microfiber cloth that you want is one with velvety surface, not for cleaning lens, which has swede-like surface.
