Needle stuck on a track, loops itself..

I just got a SL1210 with a Concorde Pro needle.

Now the problem is that on the last song on any vinyl, the needle gets stuck on a track and loops itself forever.

I've tried to change the weight and anti skating but no luck so far..

any advice will be helpful!

sounds like a problem with the tonearm base or anti-skating mechanism. Grab the tonearm an move it carfully to the middle pin. Dont force it! Usually the tonearm should be moveable without resistance till ca 1inch to the the middle pin.
It also could be a problem or false adjustment of the bearings on the tonearm base. In both cases you should leave it to someone who know hoe to do this. Its not an easy job.
Or send it back and try to get a new.

One wierd thing is if I jump forward a few tracks it plays the vinyl as it should do...

The tonearms resistance feels heavier as closer I come to the middle (last song..)

Is the anti skating at 0?

It is, and if I change it to 3 the tonearm goes back, so it should be ok..
I'd like to add that if I add just a little bit of pressure on the side of the tonearm from my fingertip, the needle does not get stuck any longer.

I just ordered a new tonearm, do I need to switch the lower tonearm also?

I just banged it out real quick. Needs some changes and more time taken on it, but just for laffs I put it up anyways.
Watch out for the sub - guaranteed to shake the house.

I'd like to tell you all that I bought a new tonearm from http://www.juno.co.uk
(got the package the same day as I placed the order, and I don't even live in the UK..).
Molded the cables (Which i've never done before, easier than expected) and the 1210 is back in business!
