You know what I mean...

Your digging through albums going back in time, and those covers just get to you.

My moment for me came digging and I came up on some Dr. Funkenstein stuff. Followed by Millie Jackson. Maybe I had been digging so long that day I became delusional. But man o' man was it funny. Some of those album covers out there are EPIC. Something about digging albums just that feel of putting them on the player and hearing the snap crackle and pop. BTW if you don't have a Masterlink and your digging... I seriously recommend getting one.

It's a recording Harddrive to CD device made by Alesis. They should be cheap now but you can put an entire album directly on CD. Snap crackle pop and all.

It's good for saving and backing up albums. You get the Exact same as you do on vinyl only on CD when you're done. I find something I like I record it on the link burn it load it on my pc cut it up or distract the vocals beat whatever, and put it on my pads or just go from the Masterlink and do the dirty work on the pads. It's been out for a while but having your albums saved on it's Harddrive is easier to flip through than your album collection.

I remember when they came out.

I just thought you might have been talking about a new fangled portable deck or something.

Not as good as it looks like but on the other hand it's one of his better works. He released so many records and most of them are shitty. There are only 3 or 4 records that are worth buying. The best IMO is "Well kept secret". Its very differnt from his other stuff cause its very jazzy.
