Larry Willis "153rd Street Theme". That's the horns for sure. Some of the drum sounds like it's from there too but sampled way hot and rearranged. It almost sounds like there's one bass note of Grover Washington's Hydra layered in there. But that could just be because it's the same musical note and I'm hearing things.

That site is a godsend to my failing 40 year mind.

Did you hear it like I did though? Meaning I'm still not 100% sure how JuJu and Les got the drums sampled and arranged. Like maybe there's another drum in there too.

I checked with whosampled.com before I posted on here. So I knew that Larry Willis record was used for the horns and melody but I don't think they ripped the drums from there as well. I usually check between the-breaks.com and whosampled.com - but they don't always reveal the whole story.

Wicked break though, if any1 can find it they will receive a shiny nickle!
