I need a horn sample identified.....
On "Gamblin Pete's Million Dollar Blackjack Breaks"....
on the side with the cash on the label....
at the beginning of the 5th cut....
Right after James Brown says 1-2-3-4-HitIt....
What is that horn-line intro from???????

I can't remember what it is. It sounds like James/JB's. It actually sounds a lot like the intro to My Thang, but different.
I scratched these horns on some friends' recording, and now the label needs to know what it is so they can try to clear it.
Help.

ITs in all trusty contracts that if they go to you and you dont tell them who you sampled from they have to find out for themselves... its there ass on the line/////

It's not in a beat I sold anybody. I scratched the horn line on a track for a friend who's producing this group. They have a deal on a major, and the label is requesting all the samples they have to clear. My bro is asking me for the name, so I'm doing it for him.

the problem is you have to buy more or start a garden

I thought on the scratch records they always included that disclosure on the sleeve somewhere that you could use any of those samples royalty free ...... I dunno, maybe i read that somewhere else or maybe its just for scratch purposes only, but I do remember seeing that on some records.
