ok
i shouldnt be doing this but im gonna help some of you new jacks.
if you wanna here some nice nice bass
that will make you think of others how have copped it
check out some of the MODERN JAZZ QUARTET
they have a few albums and there all pretty different
but some of the early stuff is all bass, drums, piano, and vibes
and it is seriously ill.
some new heads might find it too deep for their ears and not really straight ahead enough to sample, but dont sweat it.
hold on to those records and when your style developes youll thank yourself for not ditching em.
also
if your lookin for bass
dont sleep on the early disco or early 80s new wave stuff.
for good bass and 808 style drums check out
