I've been out getting cheap records out of charity shops, or as what my American friends call thrift shops.

Stuff for a £1
And I come across quite a few signed by a member of the band.
for example I got 'Hot Chocolate' 'going through the motions' album sighed by Errol Brown today for a quid/buck, £1

I suppose taking a album to a concert and asking them to sign it after, happens a lot.
Is it unusual?
Just wondering.

By the way, there is a nice bit with a open crunchy bass drum on the album and some nice synth parts here and there, but on the whole the record seems more like one long jam session on the same song, with not many opportunity's to chop out singular hits without filtering out other parts.

But not a bad record, for £1
:smoker:
PEACE !

Yeah, you would find signed records, but not so common. Collectors die old or young and their treasures are, most times, not recognized by their family and friends so its taken away in bulk and given or sold for cheap. Sometimes you'll find hard to find vinyl in garbage cans. In Brooklyn, I used to to go to the higher class neighborhoods at night and find stacks all bundled up in rope. I would take all I can carry and maybe a TVradio. Cats thought I was nuts then but I knew I was getting the hot madness.

Then also is people have record and sign themselve. I've got countless fan signed. But a few actual signed. Its not easy for me to tell the difference.

I think having signed makes it so much iller tho :D especially if its one you really like!!

I bought an autographed John Denver album for 50p at an Oxfam store in Ipswich back in '06.

God, John Denver , I hope you didn't have to listen to it as well :vomit: ha ha!
But yeah, that 's probably worth a few quid eh?

mostly I'm just looking for stuff with some drums on, but when I see these sighed ones for £1 the greedy green goblin inside me tells me to buy it with the notion to sell it on, then I listen to it, decide it's crap & never think about it again.

Hopefully soon I'll find some nice breaks.
