Sampling 'Naughtilus'

Not sure if this is the right place to put this
But what are your views on sampling Bob Jame's 'Naughtilus' ?
I've heard that it's not allowed?

Course it's acceptable to use it. Just do someting different to what's already been done. That would be whack otherwise.

personally i like these remakes from a few years back.

When I think 'Nautilus' (at least the main melody) the first one I think of is Ghostface's Dayton 500...

you just broken the golden rule on sampling, your caring too much
sample whatever and who ever you like.
How many dudes you think sampled that and dont even OWN the record?

daytona 500 is the jam that i immediately think of.
