Drum CD's

I personally do use drum cd's with individual sounds on em, but i still dig for vinyl and get sounds and mix shit up.
I also add extra processing to the sounds i get off the cds in the same way that you would do if u got a sound off a record.

why are certain peeps so anti progression? hip hop has always been about using whateva is available to u to express urself so why put limits on urself?

If you find somethin' nice use it.No matter the source.I think we've "talked" about this a few times but never get anywhere because some use c.d's,some use vinyl.some use the internet.Just wherever you get it from make sure you add your own swing to it and make it yours.

anyhow back to the subject, I ve been able to get soem real nice drums from sample Cd's but the basses seem to be lacking in quality.

any specific suggestions for bass sounds?

lace a bass that has a lil medium sound with a lower sine wav to give it meat......mabey that can work out for you, only you know how you want your bass to sound, experiment and boost certian freqs, the lower end to boost up the bass

yeah they should have something up here for people who buy loop cds etc, since my funds are going to be low after getting my mpc, i dont want to buy any more crap cds full of wack stuff i cant even use,i want to know which cds are the bomb and which ones are rip offs, i dont know how to get samples off of vinyl yet, so i need to get loops and stuff, and all these people being rude and stuff is really turning me off, if you dont got nothing nice to say just dont reply, all this negativity sucks, now watch someone say something about what i wrote, and when you do, know that i dont care. i refuse to go round and round with you, try spreading love and happyness lets work together and make this music and get paid,let us ask what we want to ask
