Not me for sure. I've seen pictures on here of huge collections.

Yo - my buddy was in the Air Force stationed in Alaska and he was choppin it up with the cat named Frankie Scissorhands from Anchorage ..... apparently this guy has like hundreds and hundreds of crates of straight RAW shiitt - - ALL CTI - - ALL Blue Note - - ALL the ill nana - - I havent heard of anyone with more than that...........

I had over 7000 at one point but have since slimmed it down to about 3000.
I would have to say that Mr. Supreme from Seattle has the illest collection I've ever seen although I don't know if he's a member of the MPC board.

in 93-94 acouple of friends got a hair ....
to count my records they came up with 12,000. since then my collection has double or tripled but i havent counted cause i keep buyin records, but i can tell u i have between 70 -80 crates and records on the floor.i stopped crate robbin afew years back.

I guess I have 12,000 too then cuz last time I moved I had over 90 U-haul boxes full.
But unless I missed something 70-80 crates does not equal 12,000 records considering most crates don't even hold 100 records. Even if crates did hold 100 you would only have 7,000 by my calculation given the numbers you provided.

I have about 500 records. I was damn lucky few weeks ago when I bought 78 records for 25euros, not sure but I think it's about 20 - 22$. I was diggin in second hand store and found these records from dirty corner. These records are all about funk jazz soul pop and classical. I got a collectors box of very best soul, disco, funk sh*t (10 records).
One of the best days for a while.

the crates from back in the day were long and you can fit records snugly tilted and you can fit 90 to 100 records very tight fit you have troubles taken em out the were so tight, but if you want to come count them, and tell me how many i have be my guest,

but like i said they counted and thats what they came out with and another thing i said theres records on the floor and every where else in my house, but what does that matter it's how u use them . not how many you have .

i only got like 100 records but i use the phuck out every single dam one...like my man ede said, its how u use them

i think the amount of records you have doesn't tell everything. i mean someone could go to a flea market and buy thousands of shitty records. "yeah man, the size of my collection is 5000".


i'd rather have 1 crate of good records than 10 crates of crap.
