what is this sample source??

The song "Building steam with a grain of salt" on DJ Shadows "Endtroducing" album. The spoken words in the begining that start out "From listining to records, I just knew what to do, I mainly tought myself..." Also at the very end of the song there is more. I have always wondered who that was talking, and what record it was from. Anyone know? I have asked people before, but no one knows. I'm not biting shadow, just really curious.

OK Dude Is A Fanatik to say the Least


He uses ANY I Repeat any Vinyl He Finds >.....................AND HE
FINDS ALOT .Yo It Could Be Documentary Stuff or Those little Language Waxes word. I Don't Know And We May Never Know, Some of his sources are Very limited presses...... Or Even One Offs. My Suggestion email The Shadow himself.

theres a couple of shadows 'sampled by' records check em out..
i got brainfreeze breaks samples and something else i forget
