turntable +mpc2000

i need to get a turntable to sample with for my mpc but what should i look for or it doesnt matter? and a mixer? i seen some for $30 and i seen some for $300 does it matter? holla back

If you are just going to sample pretty much any turntable will work. Just make sure holds pitch and has a good needle and cartridge, that's where your sound comes from.
