man i've been sick as hell for the past 2 weeks but i still managed to go dig this week. had some great finds that had me grinning ear to ear the whole time. nothing really rare but good none the less.

herbie mann-glory of love
5 grand funk LP's (covers were VERY nasty and moldy but, the LP's were mint!)
mfsb-love is the message
creative source-migration
soul flutes-trust in me
stylistics-lets put it all together
santana-caravanserai
mongo santamaria-stone soul
charo and the salsoul orchestra-cuchi-cuchi
wes montgomery-down here on the ground, tequila (japanese or chinese version), best of (japanese or chinese version) & a day in the life
brazilian byrd-charlie byrd
dickie goodman-kong 45
gonzalez-havent stopped dancing 45
breakin soundtrack (classic ollie & jerry shit)

and there are actually about 20-25 more GOOD LP's
overall i'd say half were $1 a piece and the other half were $.50 each

:D
ahhhhh i luv diggin!!

edit: i went back to the same spot today and copped MORE:
Wes Montgomery-Tequila (japan release)
Ramsey Lewis-Wade in the water (japan release)
Paul Mauriat-Latin Nights and Rhythm & Blues (japan releases)
Nancy Wilson-Lush life (japan release)
Ella Fitzgerald-Clap hands, here comes charlie

all $1 each

Again....great week :D

charo and the salsoul orchestra-cuchi-cuchi

Charo ... wasn't she a '70s porn star who did some tracks with the Salsoul Orchestra? Does this have a good cover?

The cover is here (scroll halfway down):

I always thought she looked kind of like a drag queen, but whatever works for ya.... hahaha. Too bad she can't sing. That album is Vincent Montana though, who is a god in the disco world. Check out his Montana - A Dance Fantasy record if you can find it.

Charo's not nearly as sexy as Playmate Ellen Michaels who graced the gatefold cover of Salsoul Orchestra - Nice n Nasty LP

haha remember, on the simple life, when she had a show, and everyone kinda took it as a joke but when the saw/heard her play, it drove em to tears? haha
