Im in a DJ Battle in an hour.

im tryin not to be nervous but im stressed out. gotta think happy thoughts...whew.

i doin a beat juggle for an intro, threee hiphop inst. blends and a scratch over a break for an outro...i can play the juggle sequence perfect, but i could easily fu!< it up. im so anxious i can't even sit still..

i have a mini-disk or mini dv, im not sure i want to hear it or watch it! if tonight goes poorly i feel pretty stupid having recorded it..i could just record the whole night though.

you got to look at this way use the recorded material to learn of your mistakes, how else you going to learn ,

i placed second. i got some free records but no cash..i got a ghetto gold medal thats pretty hideous..
the guy that won was the crowd favorite but the hiphop heads were letting me know that i did my thing too.. the sets were as long as 10-15 mins, i got slightly penalized because my set was only 6 min. fuc!< 10 mins. is a long time for a hip hop dj battle set.. the guy who won was also playing z-tripp records...one dude battled w/ 80's and house...i can't be mad beause i lost, i just wish i hadn't spent so much time w/ my mpc and more on my decks...

imma practise more now..i don't want to lose again..

it was called the 'symphony de la ghetto flow' it was a fundraiser for the radio station...there were nine entrants but only eight showed..
